My main aim with this blog is to help other writers by giving practical tips to help them make money and drive traffic. As a result, I have written quite a number of articles, created a newsletter, and even replied to hundreds of emails on the subject of making money writing. I have talked a lot about marketing, and the importance of having many skills, on this blog. One thing I have noticed, though, is that many writers aren’t ready to put in the marketing effort, and sorry to say, a lot of writers are very lazy (or not that “talented”) when it comes to marketing. Either ways, while I’m a great advocate of marketing, I also believe in focusing the most of your energy on what you’re best at. As a result, I have decided to research and write a practical article that ensures writers don’t have to market themselves before they are able to make money online.
In this article, I’ll be listing 30 unique websites that will pay you to contribute an article to them. I haven’t tried all the websites on this list, but I ensured I did my due research by filtering through lots of websites and by going through feedback from other freelance writers to ensure this article is as accurate as possible.
While there are websites that give you a part of the revenue your article generates, it is often difficult for writers wanting to make quick cash to benefit from this websites. I believe you should be able to get paid for your articles instantly, and this article will be giving you a list of 30 websites that will pay you a fixed rate for every article you contribute. Most of these sites pay around $50 per article, and some of them even pay up to $900 for an article. If your writing is accepted by any of these websites, you should expect to get paid anytime from a few days to a week.
The good thing about most of the sites listed below is that they also allow you to include a bio with a link back to your website. You can easily use this opportunity to link back to a hire me page on your blog, and as a result get a lot of clients willing to pay you for your work. In other words, by writing for most of the blogs on this list you are being paid to market yourself.
PS. I share other unique and practical tips on writing for traffic and money with my subscribers, and you can get these tips by subscribing to my newsletter. You will also be given a free copy of my free ebook, The Writer’s Handbook: How to Write for Traffic and Money, if you subscribe today.
